Trauma Nursing Core Course

This class will be for the first 24 paid registrants and will be on a first come first serve basis. The class will be held at Knapp Medical Conference Center in Weslaco.     • This class will be for the first 30 paid registrants and will be on a first come first serve basis. The class will be held at Knapp Medical Center in the Conference Building in Weslaco. Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • PHTLS - Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support February 18-19th 2006.

Program Description:    This symposium is a collaborative effort by the TSA"V" RAC to meet the educational needs of trauma and critical patient care providers.  We work hard to create an environment where you can both learn and have fun.

Target Audience:    All healthcare professionals interested in the care of trauma and critically injured patients:  Fire, Nursing, EMS and Respiratory Therapists.

Objectives:    Each participant will have the option of selecting the lectures of their choice.  However, they are on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If the class is full you may be directed to another lecture.

We look forward to having our Exhibitors, Sponsors, Registrants and Staff attend the reception that will be held on the second floor lobby of the Sheraton Hotel. The reception will begin at 6:00PM and end at 9:00PM. Appetizers will be served.

Thursday, April 06, 2006 , 6:00 PM We look forward to having all Exhibitors, Sponsors and Registrants attend the reception held at the Sheraton Fiesta SPI Beach Resort. The reception will begin at 6:00PM. Appetizers will be served.

Friday, April 07, 2006 will be begin the second Conference Day.  Registration will begin at 7:00 AM with continental breakfast and the Conference will begin at 8:00 AM.    There will be a mid-morning break and an afternoon break as well as a luncheon provided for all Exhibitors, Sponsors, Registrants and Symposium Faculty.

The Sheraton Fiesta SPI Beach Reosrt will be our hosting Facility.  Brochures will be sent out all over the State of Texas and the surrounding states.  We believe we will have an excellent turnout and will continue to grow each year becoming one of the four major Symposia in the State of Texas.  As an Exhibitor and a Sponsor you will find this Symposium fun, educational and innovative.

Exhibitors can contribute various amounts.  Minimum donations for a booth is $300.  Standard conference booths available are a 8 X 8 foot space with limited electrical access to each booth.

8 X 8 booth, choice of sponsoring reception, course or speaker, printing brochures or refreshments.  Name on display board and in program book, 4 registrants for the conference day and name recognizing the choice of sponsorship.
